Kiss me before I forget

Memories of all those blissful years together,
some wither,
kiss me darling, before I forget.
When I am yet a husk of a man,
drooling
pooping in his diaper.
Returning to an infant’s state.
Promise me you will put an end to my misery.
For to vegetate,
is no life worth living.
